Who wants to know what bugs me?
How will I know when you're REALLY exhausted if it's all you ever complain about? Either you are sleeping too much, or too little. Figure it out and grab a coffee. Seeing as how I don't know any single parent surgeons or manual laborers, I sometimes wonder how I know so many narcoleptics. I don't mind if you're tired, just go to bed and stop basing all our conversations around it. Someday you probably will be legitimately exhausted and I'm going to be like, "Eh, I don't know."

Is this one specific person?? Or a combination of all of your coworkers?
ReplyDeleteRemember how excited you were to have a job where you get to talk to people? THIS is the annoying crap they talk about!!
My coworker is one of those know-it-alls you were talking about the other week. You know, you can say ANYTHING and she'll have a thunder stealing story related to it. I could be like, "My cat ate my middle toe the other night," and she'll break in with, "Oh god, that happens to me all the time. I have two cats that do it. Here's what you do..." Sometimes I really feel like I work with Penelope.
Anyway, who the F throws trash on your desk?
And I completely agree with you about the crying wolf thing. I think people just like to say stuff like that because they feel the need to fill the silence.
Two are definitely about coworkers, but the tired thing is basically based on everyone I talk to recently. Why is EVERYONE so tired? I'm perplexed.
ReplyDeleteI do, however, love having coworkers who are older than 10.
